Dr. Jenni Winters

Jenni received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in 2013. Prior to pursuing a career in physical therapy, she was a registered nurse at Phoenix Children’s Hospital. She has several years of physical therapy experience in outpatient orthopedic clinics. She helped open the Motion Analysis Lab at Phoenix Children’s Hospital and worked with a team of Orthopedic Surgeons, Physician Assistants, and Engineers to develop the ACL return-to-play assessment and perform gait analysis for surgical planning. She has also had the opportunity to travel internationally for medical mission trips to serve communities in need. Her training and certifications include dry needling, manual therapy, gait analysis, ACL return to play, Graston, and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.

Jenni is an active triathlete and Ironman but grew up dancing and playing tennis. She enjoys an active lifestyle and has a passion for helping others stay active by getting stronger and moving better whether it’s after surgery or for sports performance. She understands the psychological impact an injury can have on an athlete and will work with you to get you back to swimming, biking, running, CrossFit, soccer, golf, tennis, dance, or whatever activity you choose without limiting all activity in the process. As an athlete, being told you can’t do what you love is devastating and she gets it!
